Mosaic Suncatcher Duo ☀️✨

Want to make two shiny projects in just four hours—without stress and come away with a few new tricks up your sleeve? You’re in the right place! This fun, relaxed class is all about creating, experimenting, and enjoying the process (bonus: it’s way more fun with other people).

You’ll make two different suncatchers, each with its own vibe: Project #1: A dreamy cloud suncatcher with fused glass “globs,” and no grout at all. Think sparkly crystal raindrops and lots of personality.

Project #2: A 3” glass-on-acrylic suncatcher that we’ll set using UV resin and UV lights (ooh, science!). Once it’s cured, we’ll grout it for a polished, finished look. You can choose either a Star, Heart, Paw, or Flower shape. Mosaics are wonderfully relaxing—especially when you’re chatting, laughing, and making something beautiful alongside new friends. I’ll walk you through each step as we go, explaining the process before we dive into each project so you can create with confidence.

You’ll receive two complete kits: One no-grout kit (cloud) for easy, breezy fun and one grouted kit (grout included!) The cloud suncatcher kit includes everything you need to make this whimsical piece. I create the glass “globs” in my kiln, melting them until they’re perfectly rounded and extra shiny. They’re ridiculously fun to work with!

For the grouted suncatcher, you’ll choose your shape: Heart, Paw, Flower, or Star. Your kit includes stained glass chips, tweezers, grout, soft cleanup materials, and a ribbon for hanging. Each workstation will also have UV resin and UV lights, which might be a brand-new (and very cool) technique for you.

What to bring: An apron, Wheeled nippers (if you have them) and a particulate mask.  I’ll supply everything else. This class is perfect if you want to relax, play with glass, try UV glue, and leave with two cheerful suncatchers (and maybe a few new friends too).
