Smallow Garden Mosaic Class

Recognized as symbols of hope, renewal, loyalty and a safe return home, swallows are great additions to your space. Whether the home or garden, these lovely mosaics add a pop of color you didn’t know you needed.

Created using glass and/or ceramic tiles set onto a weather resistant substrate using a strong adhesive and grout. Each mosaic measures approximately 12 ½” long and about 9” wide. Perfect size for any space.

I’ll provide all the materials, glass tiles, substrate prepped and ready to hang, adhesive, grout and detailed instructions. You bring an apron, wheeled mosaic nippers, something to transport your ungrouted piece home and good vibes. This class is open to all skill levels, as glass cutting will be minimal—perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike.

This class is intended to be 4 hours in length – enough time to create your design. Detailed instructions are included for grouting at home. It can be extended to 2 days; Day 1 Create the design (4 hours), Day 2 Grouting (2 hours).
