Gallery Hearts are the high brow version of my glass hearts you can find on my Valentine page. The difference is these hearts are made with a lot of expensive material, custom frame colors and mounted on glass. They remind me of a museum gallery item hence the name.
Made of glass murrini, glass frit, and sheet glass, these beauties are unique in their arrangement and color combinations. Measuring in at about 4 1/2” x 4 1/2” (outside dimensions), the glass inset is about 3” square and the heart sitting on top of that measures approximately 2” by 2”.
The back has an easel on which is sits nicely, or you can hang it by the sawtooth hanger if you prefer. These look great as a wall grouping, or individually on a table. For complete transparency, you should note the back of these frames are not as pristine as the front. I’ve modified them to get the right frame color and well, my painting skills pale in comparison to my glass working skills. The front and sides of these frames are lovely, but I want you to know the backs are well, back-like and not intended to be shown.
